Breath Test Analyzer

A modern HCBT-01 breath analyzer has been introduced at Todua Clinic, designed for the rapid, accurate, and non-invasive diagnosis of Helicobacter pylori. This type of advanced diagnostic technology is available for the first time in Georgia at Todua Clinic.

The procedure is simple and максимально comfortable for the patient. The patient ingests a специальную 13C-urea capsule, after which, within a few minutes, exhales into a dedicated breath collection bag. If H. pylori is present in the организма, the bacterium breaks down urea, producing 13CO₂, which is then detected in the exhaled air by the analyzer.

HCBT-01 performs rapid and automated analysis of the collected sample, ensuring high accuracy and reliable results in clinical practice. One of its key advantages is the short turnaround time - results are available very quickly, enabling physicians to make timely clinical decisions and provide immediate feedback to patients.

The test is entirely non-invasive, painless, and patient-centered. The procedure is essentially limited to breathing into a collection bag, significantly reducing stress and discomfort. The 13C-urea capsule used in the test is non-radioactive, making the method safe for both adults and children, and suitable for repeated use.

HCBT-01 is effectively used both for the primary diagnosis of Helicobacter pylori infection and for monitoring treatment outcomes. This technology reduces the need for invasive procedures, saves time, and improves the overall quality of diagnostics.
